How it all started:
When I was younger my father gifted me an oval blue sapphire from Sri Lanka which my mother made into a ring for me. It was the first piece of real jewellery I owned that was incredibly special.
This has inspired me to work with others to create sentimental pieces that will be treasured for many years to come. For me it's the story and journey behind the piece that really adds to these purchases.
Accreditations:
I began following my passion in 2012 when I passed the GIA Diamonds & Diamond Grading certifications. A few years later I also completed the Coloured Stones Essentials and Jewelery Essentials courses with the GIA.
Experience:
Over the years I’ve formed strong relationships with the best suppliers and producers from around the world. My experience sourcing stones, creating designs, overseeing the production process whist liasing with clients means that I’m well positioned to make bespoke jewellery. Furthermore being based in Hong Hong gives me great access to top quality gem stones and workshops along with the competitive advantage of being a tax free market.
Process:
At Natasha Guinness we specialise in bespoke made jewellery. We provide a complete service; from teaching you about stones and how to get something both beautiful but also good value, to helping you with the design, to the crafting of the piece. It's a really great experience where you get to learn, make informed decisions and end up with a truly unique piece of beautiful jewellery.
After our initial discussion we’ll have all the necessary information to source the perfect size, quality and cut of stone(s) especially for you. We’ll also put together your design for you to see to confirm the details before proceeding to the crafting stage which takes around 4 working weeks to be made and delivered to you.
